For those of you who like forward thinking and "moonshots", you may be interested in the recent news that MIT engineers have devised a 3-D printing technique that uses a new kind of ink made from genetically programmed living cells. The technology is far from being commercialized and still in the nascent stages of development but nonetheless is intriguing.
